The Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce and congratulate the six Elevate Together grant recipients at the "A Night in Havana" event on August 28, 2021.
This grant was made possible through Office Depot's initiative ELEVATE TOGETHER™ powered by Round It Up America® is a nonprofit initiative designed to address systemic discrimination and historical racial disparities in business growth and profitability in Black and Hispanic communities.
The Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce (LALCC) was one of five latino chambers in the nation selected to be part of this newly created initiative to help Hispanic owners elevate their business and assist them with funds to create new jobs or purchase necessary equipment.
Our Chairman Darrel Sauceda shared "we are grateful for our relationship with Ramiro Cavazos - President and CEO at the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), for this wonderful opportunity to help small businesses scale up". Giving the certificates and grant were Jorge Laros from Office Depot and Raul Salinas from USHCC.
